As an honor student at Chelmsford High, Deena was active in many areas: Student Council, the Music Honor Society, and as a mentor. In the Theatre Guild she worked as both a writer and an actor. At Rollins College, she widened her interests, studying both sociology and dance, as well as participating in student government and a leadership and diversity program. She strengthened her background as an intern at American University and by earning an M.S. in Criminal Justice, Cum Laude, at the University of Central Florida. She then attended the Tisch School at NYU in their continuing education program. Her public relations/marketing theatrical production company “Hardly Working,” supports multiple “Giving Back Projects.”
