Khara Campbell was an active and committed student and athlete all four years at CHS. She played field hockey and softball, while concurrently maintaining a grade level that led to her being named to both the French and National Honor Societies. Subsequently, having earned a scholarship to the Honors Program at the University of New Hampshire, she studied Communication, English and Theater. She was active in her sorority and acted in several UNH stage productions. Her induction into the Golden Key Honor Society was an outcome of her high level of academic achievement. Continuing her theater studies with the Moscow Art Theater, in a partnership the American Repertory Theater, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts led her to performances in stage productions and, eventually, behind-the-scenes study at Los Angeles Film School. She has been working as a producer-director while continuing to write female-perspective articles, which have been published in Huffington Post Women and the LA Times. Her first novel, Seahorse, was published in May 2019, and it is being adapted as a movie script. Khara has advocated for many charitable causes as well as developed a health and wellness program.
