Matt Ciesluk, a member of the 1990 Division 1 State Championship wrestling team at CHS, also reached New England and All-American levels of success…having been named Globe, Herald, and Sun all-scholastic designations. He was a Dean’s List student, was inducted into the Spanish Honor Society, and wrote for The Voice. At Hofstra University, Matt received the Bovennaan Award for outstanding contributions to student activities, wrote for Hofstra’s student paper, The Chronicle. He volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island and with Special Olympics of NY. After college served as an assistant coach in CHS’s wrestling program, helping to continue the winning tradition.  In his professional career, his communication team with NASCAR, of which he is senior director, has won numerous awards in the field. Matt has dedicated a great deal of his time and effort to making sure that underserved and homeless neighbors are provided what they need, and he has worked hard to raise funds for charitable causes such as the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He continues to be a financial supporter of CHS’ wrestling program.
