Student Athletic Association (1,2,3,4), Junior Red Cross Club (1,2,3,4), Football (1,2,3,4-Co-Captain) Earned 4 Varsity Letters, As a Senior: Team was undefeated, won the State Class “D” Championship (1st in CHS history), Scored 126 points (3,4), Conference All-Star (3,4) Lowell Sun All-Star (3,4), Boston Globe All- Scholastic (4), Boston Herald All-Scholastic (4), Baseball (2,3,4-Team won conference championship)

Maine Maritime Academy BS Marine Engineering ’64 Baseball (1,2,3,4), Football (1,2,3,4) Senior Football team won the New England Conference Championship. In Fred’s senior season he was the Most Valuable Player, New England Small College All- American, NCAA All-American Honorable Mention. He is a member of the Maine Maritime Academy Hall of Fame

Moore-McCormack Lines Engineer 3rd Class Spending many months at sea, traveling the world delivering cargo, Retired as Chief Engineer after 20 years at sea
