Jeff Parks used his time at CHS well, playing Varsity Hockey and working various after school jobs. After he graduated from high school, he enlisted in the US Army Infantry Reserve and became a TOW Gunner, reaching the rank of E-4 Specialist. His 6-year military service afforded him the opportunity to attend Bridgewater State, from which he graduated as a physical education and health teacher. He continued his education, earning both an M.Ed. and an Ed.D. Jeff has worked in the Chelmsford schools as both a teacher and assistant principal prior to his current position as Principal at Parker. He was also the rugby coach and both Harvard and Bentley – and is now the rugby coach at CHS. His membership in NEMLEC (Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council,) as a STARS (School Threat Assessment and Response System) team member and as an ALICE (Alert Lockdown Inform Counter Evacuate) trainer of safety protocols add to his significance as a member of the leadership team in the public schools.
