Haverford College Instructor (English); University of Wisconsin Instructor (English), Assistant Professor (English), Associate Professor (English & Women’s Studies), Professor (English & Women’s Studies); Chair for Women’s Studies; Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs—serving as an Ombudsperson for women faculty & academic staff who have concerns about equity in salary, working conditions and the promotion & tenure process. Successfully sponsored and guided a plan through the Faculty Senate for remedial salary adjustment for women faculty who had been paid less than male faculty with the same years of experience and performance records. Oversees Employee Assistance Program—coordinating training & development on campus, Provost’s Liaison to the University Library Committee & General Library System

Madison, WI Family Service of Wisconsin (Board of Directors)-County’s largest private non-profit provider of social services, while serving as Chair the Family Service conducted a successful capital campaign raising $260,000; Actively recruits middle school, high school & college freshman girls to study science & technology at the college level; Wisconsin Public Radio numerous programs including: Intro to Modern Literature. Awarded Phi Kappa Phi Award for Outstanding Service at the University of Wisconsin; CHSAA (Charter & Life Member)
